This part is in excellent working order. It works in conjunction with the shaped Kitchenaid stopper that has a round magnet on one end. There is some surface rust on the switch cover plate.

This magnetic switch is located at the end of a small length of flexible conduit, high up on the mounting collar, fitted against the side of the collar. To the best of my knowledge, this part is no longer being produced by any manufacturer.

It does not fit any newer Kitchenaid disposers made by whirlpool or use in sink Erato. See photos and below for more details. If your disposer does not say Hobart on it, this part will not fit.

This is a used magnetic switch removed from an older KWD200 Kitchenaid disposer made by Hobart. This part only was used on older batch feed Kitchenaid disposers made by Hobart.
